Copas Technologies are going from strength to strength and are seeking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their expanding team, this is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in First Article Inspection and is looking to take their career to the next level.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this is a permanent position based in Kilkeel Co. Down working from Mon to Fri between 8:00 – 16:30.
Responsibilities include:
- First article inspection
- Final and in process inspection
- Internal process audits
- Problem Solving activities
- Monitoring and reporting of monthly KPIs
- Scrap analysis
- MRB & NCR disposition
- Quality Alerts and Tool Box Talks
- Support Training Activities
- Manage Calibration Plans
- Promote best practices throughout the production process
Essential Requirements:
- 1 years experience in a Quality role working within a manufacturing
environment - Good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc
- Experienced in completing First Article Inspections
- Ability to conduct internal audits
- Strong communication skills
Desirable:
- Ability to use a CMM to take accurate dimensions
- Certified Internal Auditor
- Relevant 3rd level qualification
