Job Description

Copas Technologies are going from strength to strength and are
seeking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their expanding team, this is a great opportunity for an energetic individual who would like to be part of a growing business delivering high-end machined parts to the Aerospace and Medical sectors.

Reporting directly to the Quality Development Manager, this is a
permanent position based in Kilkeel Co. Down working from Mon to Fri between 8:00 – 16:30.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain site accreditations AS9100, ISO9001, SC21 Silver
• Liaise with the customer for all quality related concerns and queries
• Conduct and support internal and external process audits
• Manage supplier performance
• Monitoring and reporting of monthly KPIs
• Lead problem solving & preventative activities
• MRB & NCR disposition
• Support tool box talks, training and mentoring
• Manage Calibration Plans
• Promote best practice throughout the production process
• Support Continuous Improvement projects throughout the business
• Report to Senior Management on all quality issues in line with the
  reporting requirements
• Other duties as and when required

Essential Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role, or 2 years in a Quality Manager role working within a manufacturing environment
• Relevant 3rd level qualification or above
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Word, Outlook, Excel…
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong problem solving and risk mitigation back ground
• Clear concise communicator
• Ability to encourage and motivate people of all levels
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead and
  manage their own time

Desirable:

• Certified Auditor
• Degree in Engineering
• Ability to operate CMM
